Boasting 110 rooms, Florham was inspired by Sir Christopher Wren’s late 17th-century expansion of Hampton Court Palace. The interior was outfitted with magnificent Renaissance fireplaces, a Louis XV ballroom and other such luxuries.

Thomas Edison personally designed the heating system for the house.
